Actually Allen is beta testing a new hack called UBB Post Quota. It allows the admin to set a number of posts per user. Then when the user posts a message, their allotment decreases by one (three if they respond to a poll). So in fact, Allen hasn't posted 7000 message, but rather has 7000 messages to post before the cookie jar is empty! -Tacks Actually, it might not be a bad hack for a pay as you go support board, etc.

Everybody wants to have polls, until they actually get them. If everyone likes to vote so much, why are so few people registered, so they can vote in a poll that matters. In any case, polls get tired really quick. The CP control allows you to set the Poll penalty, default -5. Now if someone would be willing to help me with Mastermind or Rock, Paper, Scissors we can really flood a board with polls and game threads! -Tacks
